A spear fisher fought and killed a Tiger Shark.
The shark attacked them, so the guy shot it in the gills - apparently a maneuver that will definitely kill it, so he then decided to “finish the job” and “kill it as humanely as possible.” This meant he had to try and “put a shaft into its brain as quickly as possible.” When that didn’t work he “shot it six times in the head with a spear.” That proved to be a “a slow drawn out process,” so he decided to “get a rope around its tail, drag it from the back of the boat and attempt to drown it.” However, that wasn’t enough, so they had to “put a knife in its skull” using “a long blade knife even after trying to drown it.”
